How to Stop or End a Recurring Task
If you've set up a recurring task on your schedule and you want it to stop repeating β or you want to clear all future occurrences β this article walks you through both options.
Option 1: Stop the Series Going Forward
Use this when you want the task to stop repeating from today onward, without removing the occurrences that have already happened.
Open Scheduling.
Click any upcoming occurrence of the recurring task to open it.
In the task details, change Recurrence to None.
Click Save.
This keeps past and completed occurrences on the schedule history and stops new occurrences from being created.
Option 2: Delete All Future Occurrences
There isn't a single "delete all future dates" button. After you've stopped the series using the steps above, delete each remaining future occurrence one at a time:
Open Scheduling and navigate to a future date where the task appears.
Click the task on the calendar to open it.
Click Delete (or Remove Event) to remove that day's occurrence.
Repeat for each future date.
Recurring Tasks vs. Routes
This article covers recurring tasks. If you're trying to stop a recurring route, use the route's Active / Inactive toggle in Schedule β Route Management instead β that cleanly removes all future route events while keeping past ones intact.
