You can speed up the process of creating Estimates by using the Copy Workarea button within a job, or by creating a Template that can be used across jobs.
This tutorial addresses two scenarios.
The first is when you're creating an Estimate that includes several different options for the Customer - maybe an estimate for a patio with a less expensive paver and an estimate for a more expensive paver. You can include both options in the same Estimate and then allow the Customer to approve the Estimate of their choice. In this case, we'll use the Copy Workarea capability.
The second scenario is maybe you have a certain type of job you do a lot - a certain sized pond or patio, and you would like to be able to recreate this Estimate quickly. In this case, we'll use Templates.

Step by Step to Copy a Workarea:
Step 1:
We'll address the first scenario here. First of all, follow the steps to create a new Estimate. If you haven't done it before, you can watch this tutorial here.
Step 2:
After you have created a new Estimate and created your first Workarea, scroll back to the top of the page and click on the blue Copy Workarea button.
Step 3:
Rename the new Workarea, indicating that this is an alternative option. Enter the Cost Code and Division and hit Add Workarea.
Step 4:
You will see a new Workarea added to the list in the column on the left side of the page. You can now make any edits or adjustments and then Save the Estimate.
Step by Step to Copy an Estimate Using Templates:
Step 1:
Create a Template that includes all the items for the Estimate. If you haven't created a Template before, go to this tutorial to learn how.
Step 2:
Now you're ready to use this Template to quickly create similar Estimates. Create a new job by clicking on the +New button and select Estimate.
Step 3:
Select your Customer and their Property and hit Create.
Step 4:
Name the Estimate and click on Create New Workarea.
Step 5:
Name the Workarea and select a Cost Code and Division. Hit Add Workarea.
Step 6:
