If you go to schedule a Maintenance Contract on the Calendar but you can't edit it all, it's because that job is part of a Route. Your screen might look like this and your pointer turns into a red circle when you try to click on a field. This little icon indicates that this job belongs to a Route.
This tutorial shows you how to resolve the issue:
Step by Step:
Step 1:
Go to Route Planning on the main menu under Setup.
Step 2:
Click on the route that the job belongs to.
Step 3:
You have two options: you can either remove the job from the route and schedule it by itself, or you can edit the whole route's schedule.
If you want to remove the job from the route, click on the trashcan icon beside the job. You can then go schedule the job on the Calendar.
Otherwise, continue to the next step.
Step 4:
Check the name of the Route (which in this case is Jeff's Mowing Route), and then go back to the Calendar and search for the route.
To make it easier to find the route, turn on only the Routes toggle at the top of the job column.
Step 5:
Drag and drop the Route to the Calendar.
Step 6:
Now you can click on any field and edit the entire route.
That's how you can reschedule a job that belongs to a route.
