How to Copy a Job
Copy is the only way to reuse a job — there is no "Duplicate"
SynkedUP doesn't have a separate Duplicate button. Copy is the one tool for reusing a job, whether you're reusing it for the same customer or sending it to a different one. If you've heard the word "duplicate," it just means making a Copy.
What Copy brings over — and what it doesn't
When you Copy a job, SynkedUP brings over the job structure:
Work areas
Items
Pricing
Copy does not bring over:
Actuals (logged time and materials)
Invoices and payments
So a copied job always starts with a clean slate on the money side. If you copied a job and still see invoices from the original, you're looking at the original job — not the copy. Open the new copy from the customer you copied it to, and those old invoices won't be there.
1. Open the job you wish to copy and go to the Details tab.
2. Scroll down and Click "Copy"
3. Select the customer or customers you wish to copy this job to.
4. Once you have selected all customers click this icon.
5. Click "Copy"
6. Click "Close"
