Managing Your SynkedUP Subscription — Plans & Payment Troubleshooting

This guide covers everything you need to know about your SynkedUP subscription: the difference between annual and monthly billing, how to switch plans, and what to do if you run into payment issues.

For anything specific to your account — current plan, renewal date, billing total, user count, invoices — a member of the SynkedUP team needs to look those up for you. See the next section for how to ask.

How to check which plan you're on

Today there's no self-serve screen inside SynkedUP that shows your current plan or renewal date. A member of the SynkedUP team needs to look that up for you and reply to you in chat. (Our in-app chat assistant can't see subscription data, so when you ask it'll route you to a human teammate — that's the expected path.)

To get the info, just reply in the in-app chat box with your account email (the email you log in with). A teammate will pull it up and send the details back to you.

When you ask, a teammate can confirm:

  • Which plan you're on (Standard or PRO)

  • Whether you're on monthly or annual billing

  • Your next invoice / renewal date

  • The monthly or annual total

  • How many users you're licensed for

No ticket, no form — just ask in chat.

Annual vs. Monthly Plans

SynkedUP offers two billing options to fit your business.

Monthly Plan

  • Billed once per month.

  • More flexibility — easier to adjust or cancel without a long-term commitment.

  • Slightly higher effective monthly cost compared to annual.

Annual Plan

  • Billed once per year, upfront.

  • Lower effective monthly cost — you save by committing to the full year.

  • Best for established businesses planning to use SynkedUP long-term.

Switching Between Plans

Whether you're looking to switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa), just reach out to us via the in-app chat — a teammate will handle the switch for you. (The in-app chat assistant can't make billing changes; it'll route you to a human teammate.)

  • Monthly → Annual: A teammate will apply any remaining days on your current cycle as a proration and get you switched over.

  • Annual → Monthly: A teammate will schedule the change to take effect at the end of your current annual term so you're not double-billed.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Per SynkedUP's company policy and our terms and conditions, cancelling your subscription requires a quick call with a teammate. Until that call happens, billing continues — so it's worth scheduling soon so you're not charged again.

To start the cancellation, book the call here: https://synkedup-churn-stepper.vercel.app/

Heads-up:

  • Booking the call is the first step — the cancellation isn't final until the call happens.

  • If you've been charged after asking to cancel and don't recall booking a call, reach out via in-app chat and a teammate will help you sort it out (including any refund question).

  • SynkedUP doesn't offer a "pause" or seasonal-hold option today. If pausing is what you were after, the same scheduling link is the right place to start — bring it up on the call and a teammate will walk through your options.

What to Do If Your Card Is Declined

If your payment doesn't go through, here are the most common causes and how to fix them.

  • Contact your bank. Banks sometimes block subscription charges — especially larger annual payments — as unusual activity. Call the number on the back of your card and ask them to authorize the charge from SynkedUP.

  • Check for an expired card. Reach out via the in-app chat and a teammate will help you update your payment details. (Please don't type your card number, CVV, or full account number into the chat box — a teammate will work out a secure way to share them when you connect.)

  • Insufficient funds or credit limit reached. Contact your bank, or reach out via the in-app chat and a teammate will discuss alternative payment options with you.

What to Do If a Charge Is Flagged as Fraud

Occasionally banks flag recurring software charges — especially large annual renewals — as potential fraud. Here's how to resolve it quickly:

  • Check your email and text messages. Your bank may have sent a fraud alert asking you to verify the charge — approving it there is often the fastest fix.

  • Call your bank and confirm the SynkedUP charge is legitimate. Reference the charge amount and the merchant name "SynkedUP."

  • Reach out via the in-app chat once your bank has cleared the hold, and a teammate will retry the payment on our end.
