SynkedUP has a new way to connect AI tools — like Claude — directly to your SynkedUP data. It's called the SynkedUP MCP. This is different from our Zapier integration, so here's what it is, who can use it, and how to get access.
MCP vs. Zapier — which one do I want?
SynkedUP MCP — lets an AI tool (such as Claude) connect to your SynkedUP data so you can ask it questions and have it work with your information. This is what you want if you're trying to connect Claude or another AI tool to SynkedUP.
Zapier — connects SynkedUP to other apps to automate actions (for example, create a lead or kick off a follow-up when a job is created). Use Zapier for app-to-app automations, not for connecting an AI tool.
What you need
A SynkedUP PRO plan. Both the SynkedUP MCP and the Zapier integration are PRO features, so you'll need PRO to use either one.
How to get access
The SynkedUP MCP is rolling out gradually. To get on the list, visit https://synkedup.com/access-to-the-synkedup-mcp/ and request access.
What data can it access right now?
Right now the MCP can access the same data as the AI Assistant inside SynkedUP — currently focused on your labor-hours / time-tracking information. This will keep growing over time, but the available data is limited at the moment.
Can I connect Claude today?
Yes. Once you're on PRO and have MCP access, you can connect Claude to SynkedUP through the MCP. Just keep in mind the data is currently limited to time-tracking information.
