If you're looking for this article that likely means you just sold an Estimate πŸ˜‰ So... congrats! πŸŽ‰

There are two ways an Estimate can be marked as sold.Β

  1. Manually via the Sold toggle

  2. Automatically, when a Customer approves your proposal in the electronic "Send for Review" process.

This video shows you how to manually turn on the Sold toggle:

Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1:

Open the Estimates tab in the blue sidebar menu.

Step 2:

Search for the Estimate you want to mark as sold.

Step 3:

Select the Estimate you want to mark as Sold.

Step 4:

Click on the "This project has been sold" toggle to turn it on.

Step 5:

Select the Schedulers you want to notify about this sold project. (If you are scheduling it yourself, just select yourself.)

SynkedUP requires this so that you don't have sold jobs that slip through the cracks and never get scheduled. Yep, we're looking out for ya. πŸ˜‰ To add a user to this section as a scheduler, go to that user's profile and assign the Scheduler role to them.

Step 6:

Don't forget to SAVE! Click the green icon in the top right of your screen.

The Estimate is now eligible for scheduling on the calendar. Marking an Estimate as sold also makes it available in the mobile app and your guys can now clock into it and log time against this project.

If you have any questions, please don't forget to use our chat box in the lower right-hand corner of your screen. We will be more than happy to help you.
