If your invoices in QuickBooks Online do not automatically get an invoice number, here is why

This is a quick little PSA to help anyone that is having trouble with their SynkedUP invoices getting invoice numbers in QuickBooks.

Step by Step:

Step 1:

Open an invoice in QuickBooks Online and click the Gear icon.

Step 2:

QuickBooks Online has many different settings and configurations. In this case, we are drilling right down to the little checkbox.

If you have this checkbox checked, invoices created and exported to QuickBooks from SynkedUP will not have an invoice number. For invoices to automatically get an invoice number, make sure that this checkbox, Custom Transaction Numbers, is unchecked.
