This article gives you a tour of all the places you can record Notes throughout the SynkedUP system. You can leave Notes for a Customer, Property, Job, or Workarea, all of which can be viewed in both the Web App and the Mobile App.
Workflow:
Web App:
Salesperson enters Scheduling Notes for the Scheduler
Estimator enters Crew Notes in a Job (Project, Service Ticket, Maintenance Contract) for the Foreman
Estimator enters Workarea Notes specific to a Workarea for the Foreman
Mobile App:
Foreman enters Internal Notes for the Office Staff
Foreman enters Client Notes to send to the Customer
Web App:
Office Staff reviews Internal Notes left by the Foreman
Overview:
Lead Notes:
Go to Clients & Properties > select the Customer > scroll down to Lead Notes
Customer Notes:
Go to Clients & Properties > select the Customer > scroll down to Notes
Property Notes:
Go to Clients & Properties > select the Customer > click on the gold Properties icon > scroll down to Notes
Scheduling Notes:
Go to Estimates > select the Job > scroll down to the Scheduling Notes
Crew Notes:
Go to Estimates > select the Job > scroll down to the Crew Notes
Internal Workarea Notes:
Go to Estimates > select the Job > select the Workarea > scroll down to the Internal Workarea Notes
View Notes in the Mobile App:
Go to Time > create a Time Card > click on the Job Number at the top of the screen > click on the Notes tab
Internal & Client Notes:
Go to a Time Card for that job > hit Clock Out > hit Next twice > enter Internal Notes and Client Notes (click Send Notification) > hit Finish
View Notes in the Web App:
Go to Projects > Visits > click on the Notes icon (solid icon means notes exist)
