How to Change the Crew Lead (Foreman) on a Scheduled Event

Swap the foreman or fix the crew on a job that's already on the calendar — without deleting and re-scheduling it. Includes the on-demand-route gotcha.

Need to swap the foreman or fix the crew on a job that's already on the calendar? You don't have to delete and re-schedule it — you can update the crew lead right on the event. Here's how.


Change the crew lead on a scheduled event

  1. Go to Scheduling and find the event on the calendar.

  2. Click into the scheduled event to open it.

  3. Click Manage.

  4. Scroll down to the crew section.

  5. Select the crew member(s) for the job.

  6. Set one of them as the Crew Lead.

  7. Hit Save.

That's it — the event now shows the updated crew and foreman.


Heads up: on-demand routes work a little differently

If you put a job on the calendar by dropping an on-demand route, each event becomes its own independent event once it's scheduled. That means editing the route afterward (including changing its crew lead) won't update the events that are already on the calendar.

To change the foreman on those, open each scheduled event and update the crew lead using the Manage steps above. This is the usual reason a second crew sent the next day shows the wrong foreman.
