✅ Step-by-Step: Clocking In and Out of Maintenance Jobs in SynkedUP
🔹 1. Start Your Day
Open the SynkedUP App
You'll be taken to the Timesheets page.
Tap the "Clock In" Button
Choose either the bottom or top-right orange button — both work the same.
Select Your Crew
Example: You and Cody.
Confirm the crew and start time.
Tap "Clock In"
You’re now clocked in under unbillable time (e.g., loading up the truck, trailer, etc.).
🔹 2. Start a Maintenance Job
View Your To-Do List
Jobs are listed in the order your dispatcher/scheduler set.
Tap the "Play" Button Next to the First Job
Example: Arthur Estimations’ House.
Verify the Crew
Make sure the right team is selected.
Tap "Start Timer"
The app begins tracking billable time for this job.
Your earlier unbillable time is moved down the list.
🔹 3. Add Notes or Materials (Optional)
Tap "Internal Notes" to record job observations (e.g., “Grass is wet”).
If you use any materials (e.g., fertilizer), record them here before finishing the job.
🔹 4. Complete the Job
Tap "Stop Timer"
This ends the billable clock for the job.
Set Job Status
For most maintenance (e.g., mowing), choose "Complete" to make the visit billable.
If not done, select "In Progress" or "Blocked" as needed.
Tap "Save Time Entry"
You’re now back in unbillable time (e.g., driving to the next property).
🔹 5. Start the Next Job
Tap the Next Job in the To-Do List
Example: Anthony Mohantrim’s Property.
Start the Timer
Confirm crew, then tap "Start Timer".
(Optional) Remove Unbillable Time Between Jobs
If you forgot to clock in right away, you can tap and delete the unbillable gap so time starts from the last job's clock-out.
Repeat Steps for Notes, Materials, and Job Completion
Stop the timer → Mark complete → Save time entry.
🔹 6. End Your Day
Stop Unbillable Time (if running)
Tap "Stop" on the unbillable timer.
Tap “End of Day” and Submit Timesheets
Review your day: The app will show a breakdown of billable vs. unbillable time.
Tap "Submit Timesheets" and you're done.
