General Housekeeping
Updated invoice description not being sent to QuickBooks
We found that when creating an invoice in SynkedUP and adjusting the description, it was not being reflected on the QuickBooks invoice. We quickly found the issue and have that operating as it should.
Warning message for down-payment invoices
If you have a time and materials work area on a job, you can not create a down-payment because time and material's pricing type needs actuals in order to bill out (labor, items, etc). We have added a warning message when a proposal has a time and materials work area so that there is no confusion when the down payment invoice is not created.
Upgrades and Enhancements
Added job number to customer work page
Users often navigate to a job via the customer page. From the customer page you click the work tab which will display all of the jobs associated with that customer. However, we were not displaying job numbers in that list. This made it difficult to find the job you were looking for if the jobs names were very similar. We now display the job number which should help you to identify the jobs much easier.
Upgrades to job plan view
We have continued to upgrade and enhance the job plan view. This is an effort to make the important information prominent and visible in a clear view. These are primarily visual changes with no major functional changes. Here are four highlights....
Job plan overview - clearly displays total price, breakeven, and net profit
Work area totals - displays the final price (with ability to override estimated cost, breakeven, and net profit)
Ability to add a group within the edit view
Made buttons to switch between work area and catalog browser more visible - some users were missing the fact that you could switch between the catalog browser and the list of work areas while in the edit view
