General Housekeeping

Datacenter- internally approved no longer counting as pending

In the proposals report, within the Datacenter, you can filter to see pending proposals. These are proposals that are sent, but have not been acted on yet. We found that if you internally approved a work area it was not removing it from the pending status. This was causing the pending filter to return jobs in which the work areas had been approved. This has been fixed and now pending will truly reflect work areas that have not been approved or rejected.

Added division to time report

Last year we gave you the ability to download a CSV file of timesheets. This allows you to download all of the timesheets in a period of time and filter or sort as needed. We found that we needed to add the work area's division to allow for a more granular analysis. That is now included on the report to let you filter even further.

Jobs scheduled for multiple days not showing up correctly

We found a small bug, in the mobile app, when looking for scheduled work. The bug affected jobs scheduled across multiple days. If you were accessing jobs via the "my schedule" page, everything worked as it should. However, if you were in the list of projects and toggled on the scheduled today toggle, jobs were only showing for the first day they were scheduled and not the entire duration. That has been fixed so that either location shows scheduled jobs correctly.

Canadian draft down payments

When you have a proposal approved and did not choose to auto submit the down payment, SynkedUP will create a draft down payment invoice that you can then export to QuickBooks and send to the customer. We found an issue with our Canadian users where that draft down payment invoice was not connecting the correct tax rate and therefore causing an error when trying to export. This has been addressed so now auto submitted and draft down payment invoices are performing as they should.

Datacenter- fixed close rate calculation

We found an issue with the close rate calculation in the proposals report in the datacenter. It was counting all approved work areas against the number sent. If you were manually approving work areas that was causing the close rate to be inflated as they were not included in the "sent" number. Now anything approved internally will also be counted as sent which will give an accurate close rate.

Upgrades and Enhancements

Upgraded time tracking

We are getting very close to releasing the incredible upgrades to time tracking in the mobile app. Our good friends at Tussey Landscaping have been testing it over the last several weeks. While this led to some discoveries which has delayed its general release, we are confident that we have a solid feature to release to more users soon.

As always, if you have any questions, please hit us up in the chat box. Always remember to refresh often so you are up to date with the most recent version.
