General Housekeeping

Restore schedule date in visit editor

When creating a timesheet on the web app, it used to display the scheduled dates of work areas. When we launched the new recurring work area functionality, those dates no longer displayed. We have restored that, so when in that visit editor pop up, any scheduled work areas will display their scheduled date. If it is a recurring work area, it will display "recurring". We hope this makes it easier when creating or editing timesheets from the web app.

Custom names and templates

We found an issue when a template was added to a work area, sometimes, not all items were coming in. After doing some digging, we found that in a template, you could have an item with a very long name. Work areas, however, have a limit on how long an item name came be. So, in this situation, the work area was not allowing the long name items. We fixed this and now templates limit the length of an item name to match work areas.

Mobile app freezing when entering notes

We had a report that on an iPhone 16 Pro the app would freeze when entering clock out notes. We were able to find the issue and that has been resolved.

PDF proposal spacing for terms and conditions

We noticed that when creating a PDF version of a proposal, the formatting on the terms and conditions was not matching the digital version. We made some adjustments and now the format of the terms and conditions on the PDF should closely resemble that of the digital proposal.

Upgrades and Enhancements

Datacenter man hours report

We hope you are enjoying the datacenter. As we have mentioned before it is constantly evolving, so please check back often for updates. We recently added the man hour report, which offers some great information and insight into your company's productivity. These various metrics are used to make sure your labor is performing in the most efficient and profitable way. We hope you find this new report to be very helpful. As with all the reports in the datacenter, don't forget that you can save various filtered views to help organize what you would like to see the most.

Payment schedule on proposals

We are very pleased to launch an upgrade to payment schedules on proposals. Up until now, we have only had the ability to display a progress based payment schedule. We now have the ability to display an interval based payment schedule. This should be very helpful, especially for annual maintenance contracts. These are often fixed price contracts spread out over the year in equal payments. As always, we welcome your feedback and hope you find this helpful.

Added handlebar helper to consultation emails

As you know, you have the ability to make custom emails for consultations and sending proposals. Up until now, only the proposal emails allowed you to insert "handlebars". These are for example: your customers name, sales persons name, etc. We recently added that capability to consultation emails, as well. This should allow you to customize these emails in a much nicer way.

As always, if you have any questions, please hit us up in the chat box. Always remember to refresh often so you are up to date with the most recent version.
