General Housekeeping

Work area notes disappearing

We found an issue where work area notes were not visible on the proposal. After doing some investigating, we discovered this was caused when a work area was removed from a group. The notes were still there in the work area, but were not being reflected on the proposal. Once we figured out what was causing this, it was an easy fix to prevent it from happening again.

Chat feedback link

When you click on the support chat, there is a link to submit feature requests. For a period of time, that link was broken, leaving you with a blank page. That has been fixed, so feel free to give us all of your amazing ideas! πŸ˜‰

Proposal links

As you are likely aware, you can add external links to your proposal. These are often used for longer contracts, shared folders for project documents, images, etc. We found that if you had multiple links, deleting one from a proposal was deleting all of them. That has been addressed and you can edit the links as you wish.

Service packages going away

Due to a number of reasons, we have been slowly phasing out service packages. For anyone still using them, you should have seen communication from your Customer Success Manager as well as a warning in product. Any jobs created by service packages will not be affected, but as of Friday, February 21st, the service package button will no longer be available. If you have any questions or concerns, please hit us up in the chat.

Routing order on calendar

We found that when scheduling a route, the order of the jobs was not being maintained. We figured out what was causing that and now scheduling a route will maintain proper order.

Upgrade and Enhancements

Datacenter updates

We hope that you are enjoying the data center. It is constantly evolving. We posted a video to the Facebook page last week. If you missed it, here it is....

Mid-season per visit price updates

We hope that you are all finding value in the new per visit pricing type. We have recently added an update to address mid-season per visit price changes. For example: you have a lawn that is mowed for $100 per visit and mid-season you determine that you need to raise your prices to $125. If you apply that change on the work area and have previously completed but un-invoiced visits, you will be given an option. You can either have this new price only affect visits from here on out or update completed visits that have not been invoiced. Previously invoiced visits will not be affected. This should allow for seamless mid-season price changes. If you have any questions, please let us know.

As always, if you have any questions, please hit us up in the chat box. Always remember to refresh often so you are up to date with the most recent version.
