General Housekeeping
Marking a recurring visit complete on calendar
With the roll out of the new way recurring work areas work, completed visits are not being shown on the calendar. This had to do with the way we previously did it, using individual work areas, but with the new way it is one work area scheduled many of times. We were able to sort that out as long as it is marked complete on the same day it was scheduled, it will show as complete on the calendar.
Customer filter toggle
You may have noticed on the customer page if you wanted to filter down to leads or customers, that filter was not working. After a bit of exploration we found the issue and those filters now work as expected.
Updating Terms and Conditions
If you are updating your terms and conditions on your my company page, and created a new proposal, it was not reflecting the changes. We found this was a result of some performance upgrades and it was indeed updating, but in a delayed fashion. We adjusted some timing and now updates should show immediately when creating a proposal.
Inactive properties showing available to create a job for
Customers, along with their properties, can be marked inactive. We found we had a bug that would allow you to create a new job for an inactive customer or property. This was quickly fixed up and inactive customers or properties, do not show anymore.
Upgrades and Enhancements
Record of who job is copied to
A few weeks ago, we gave the ability to copy a job to multiple customers at once. This is often used with the job template idea. When you create a sample job that many customers would have the same or similar setup. This prevents you from having to build the same or similar job many times. With that, we felt it to be beneficial to know who that job had been copied to. So now every time that job is copied there is record of that. For example: Lets say you would have a gold maintenance package and you copied that to twenty customers, you can now go back and reference which customers are on that package.
Add rich text editing to internal notes
You have always had the ability to do rich text editing (bold, bulleting, italics) for proposal descriptions, not internal notes. You now have that ability to format internal work area notes in the same fashion.
Launch of datacenter
You may have noticed a new tab pop up under information on your left sidebar menu, named datacenter. This is an exploratory start towards more reporting. This is very raw and evolving. We encourage you to use the feedback button to drop in your thoughts. Here is a link to a video that we posted in the Facebook Users group, that will help explain it, some more.
