What You Can Export from SynkedUP

Spreadsheets, PDFs, and the things that aren't downloadable. Here's the full map.

Customers ask us this a lot: "how do I get my data out of SynkedUP?" This article is the single place that answers it — what you can pull as a spreadsheet, what you can save as a PDF, and what just isn't available.

Spreadsheet (CSV) exports

There are exactly three CSV exports in SynkedUP. Two live under Setup → System Setup → Import/Export, and one lives on the Time page.

  1. CustomersSetup → System Setup → Import/Export. Exports every customer, including names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses. There's no filter option; you always get the full list.

  2. ItemsSetup → System Setup → Import/Export. Exports your full item catalog (items, cost codes, units, costs, taxable flag).

  3. TimesheetsTime page. Exports recorded time entries so you can slice hours outside the app.

Open the downloaded .csv in Excel, Google Sheets, or anything that reads spreadsheets. Sort and filter from there.

Per-job PDFs

These are available on every job, not exported from a central menu. Open the job you want, then:

  • Proposal PDF — open the proposal and use the three-dot menu (⋮) → Generate a PDF.

  • Project Report PDF — click the printer icon on the job (desktop) → choose Project ReportSave to PDF instead of printing. Good for the full job with pricing.

  • Items Summary Report PDF — same printer icon → choose Items Summary Report. Good when you just need the list of items and quantities.

What you can't export

Be upfront with yourself (and your customers) about this list — it's easier than hunting for a button that doesn't exist.

  • Estimates / proposals — no CSV export. Use the per-proposal PDF above if you need a portable copy.

  • Invoices — no CSV export.

  • A single bulk download of everything for a job — also not a thing. There's no "zip up this whole job and send it to me" button. You'll grab the PDFs you want one at a time, and the attachments separately (see below).

Attachments (photos, videos, documents)

Any files you've uploaded to a job live in the job's attachments folder. You can download them, but they come down one file at a time. There's no bulk attachment export.
