When your crew forgets to clock in or you need to log time after the fact, the Record Visit button lets you enter a complete visit and timesheet for the job — including who was on site, how long they worked, and what materials were used.
What Record Visit does
When you click Record Visit, SynkedUP creates a timesheet and a visit tied to the job. You can:
Assign one or more crew members
Enter clock-in and clock-out times
Record materials used on the job
The recorded visit does not capture GPS — that only happens when the crew clocks in live from the mobile app's Scheduled tab.
Where to find it
You can record a visit from three places, depending on where you're working:
From a specific job — open the job and go to the Visits tab.
From the Time screen — useful when you're entering time for several jobs in one session.
From the Scheduling screen — useful when you're working from the calendar view.
All three open the same form.
Recording a visit, step by step
Click Record Visit from any of the locations above.
Pick the job (if you started from the Time or Scheduling screen).
Assign one or more crew members.
Enter the clock-in and clock-out times.
Add any materials used (optional).
Click Save and Submit.
The visit will show up on the job's Visits tab and on the calendar, and the time will count toward the job's hours and payroll. If the job had a scheduled calendar event with a "No visit recorded" orange triangle, recording the visit clears that flag.
Still stuck?
If you're not seeing the Record Visit button or something looks off, send us a message in the chat box with the job name and we'll take a look.
