Hey gang! We have been busy making necessary updates and improvements in SynkedUP. Here is what we have been working on...

Web App

  • Added checks to prevent errors when adding an invoice proposal

  • Added a Create New button in the top left corner of the Menu

  • Added a Create New button directly in Customer Profile

  • Resolved the issue with email addresses having a hyphen (email was invalid and wouldn't send)

  • Added drag and drop sorting functionality on workareas

Added checks to prevent errors when adding an invoice

When a user created a proposal and the customer approved the proposal, it should be generating a down payment invoice (if the user has the down payment toggle on). SynkedUP was not generating the down payment invoice as it should in certain cases. SynkedUp requires both the Customer and Cost Code to be linked to generate an invoice. The down payment invoice was failing when either the Customer or the Cost Code was not linked first. We have added checks and error messages to prevent this issue.


Added a +New button in the top left corner of the Menu

Created a +New action button in the top left corner of the Menu.

Within that button, we have added actions that will create a new:

Work

  • Estimate

  • Project

  • Service Ticket

  • Maintenance Contract

Contact and Info

  • Lead

  • Customer

  • Property

Others

  • Consultations


Added a +New button directly in the Customer Profile

Created a +New button in the Customer Profile Screen.

When a user clicks on +New, a pop-up will appear with the following to select from:

  • Estimate

  • Project

  • Service Ticket

  • Maintenance Contract

  • Consultation

  • Property

If a user selects anything other than "New Property", they must select a property to assign this new job/consult to. The user will land on a brand new estimate, consult, etc with the Customer Info already loaded.


Issue with email addresses having a hyphen (email was invalid and wouldn't send)

Emails with a hyphen were causing the email sending feature in SynkedUP to not work. For example: it would not send when a user tried to send a proposal to a Customer. This issue is now resolved.

New Popup Menu Component

This is a new popup menu component that allows you to quickly access certain features. It appears in every estimate, project, service ticket, and maintenance contract.

You can quickly access:

  • edit Customer profile

  • edit Property

  • Upload attachments

  • Clock into this job
