This is a quick article to show you how to refresh your connection to QuickBooks Online. This usually manifests itself in an error when trying to pull in or export data to/from QuickBooks Online and you get an error. Here's a quick video showing how to refresh it.

Step by Step:

Step 1:

Go to Time in the left sidebar menu.

Step 2:

In the lower right corner, click on disconnect (slightly covered up by the chatbox).

Step 3:

This generates a popup. Hit ok, then refresh your browser.

Step 4:

You should see a "plug" icon in the upper right corner. If you don't, open SynkedUP in an incognito tab and go to Time. Sometimes your browser can cache and not realize that the QuickBooks Online connection just got disconnected.

Click on the plug icon.

Step 5:

Go through the motions of reconnecting your account: log in to QuickBooks Online, select the company, and choose Connect.

You should be good to go! Let us know if you run into any difficulty!
