In real life, things get crazy, and you might have forgotten to clock in for a job yesterday, etc. Of course, the idealistic goal is to clock in and out in real-time so that I don't have to "catch up" later.

But when the ideal isn't met, no worries, there's a solution. You can backdate your timesheets by editing the Visit date, and the timesheet in/out times and dates.

Here's a video showing you how:

Step by Step:

Step 1:

Go to Time and hit the round orange plus button to create a new Timesheet.

Step 2:

Edit the Job Date at the top of the screen and select the job for which you want to create a Timesheet.

Step 3:

Select your crew and a workarea and clock in.

Step 4:

Then, once you're clocked in, you can select or multi-select the time on the timesheet to edit their in/out times. Then click the pencil icon on the blue bar to edit the times.

Step 5:

Click on the time fields to adjust the times, then hit Save Changes.

Step 6:

Now you can continue with the normal clock out and submission workflow to finish creating the timesheet.
