It happens. You clock in, and then at the end of the day you realize that you accidentally selected the wrong job. This tutorial will show you how to fix that.

Step by Step:

Step 1:

The way we're going to solve this is by deleting the timesheet and creating an entirely new one.

Warning: before you delete the timesheet, I recommend taking a screenshot or jotting down the times so you have the information when you go to create the new timesheet.

Once you've saved that information somewhere, click on the incorrect timesheet from the Overview screen.

Step 2:

This takes you to the timesheet. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the screen and then hit Delete Timecard. Click Confirm.

Step 3:

So now the wrong timesheet is taken care of and we're back on the Overview screen.

Now we're ready to create a new one for the correct job. Hit the round orange plus button on the bottom right corner of the screen. This will begin the process to create a new timesheet.

Step 4:

You're now on the Projects screen where you can search for the job you wanted to be clocked in to originally. Select the correct job.

Step 5:

Complete the clocking-in process, selecting the crew members on the job and the correct workarea.

Step 6:

Now is when we adjust the time to match the timesheet we deleted. Click on the times for all the crew members and then the pencil icon in order to edit the time to match the original time.

Hit Save Changes.

Step 7:

Hit Clock Out and then finish the clocking out process, adding items to the job if necessary.

And that's how you take care of a Time Card for a wrong job.
