How to Hide Pricing Information in the Mobile App

Control who gets to see pricing information by setting the "Allow invoicing" permission on a Role, then assigning that Role to a User.

You can restrict who sees pricing and financial data by editing the permissions on a Role, then assigning that Role to the appropriate Users.

What the "Allow invoicing" permission controls

When "Allow invoicing" is turned OFF for a role, users assigned to that role will NOT be able to see:

  • Job prices and proposal values

  • Budget totals and financial data

  • Invoiced amounts and cost breakdowns

This is useful when you want crew members, marketing staff, or other team members to access jobs and schedules without seeing the dollar amounts.

⚠️ Note: Estimated hours/man-hours cannot be hidden from foremen. Field staff will always be able to see the estimated hours for a job, regardless of this permission setting.

Step by Step

Step 1: Go to My Company settings

From the main menu, open your My Company settings page.

Step 2: Find the Roles section

Scroll down to the Roles section on the My Company page. Click the role you want to edit (for example, "Estimator," "Foreman," etc.). If you need a new role, add one first.

Step 3: Toggle "Allow invoicing" on or off

A Role Permissions popup will appear. The permission toggle is labeled "Allow invoicing." This is the single toggle that controls whether users with this role can see pricing and financial information.

  • Toggle ON — users with this role CAN see pricing, invoices, and financial data.

  • Toggle OFF — users with this role will NOT see pricing, invoices, or financial data.

Click Save when you're done.

Step 4: Assign the role to your user(s)

Go to Setup → Users from the main menu. Click on the user whose permissions you want to change. Turn on the toggle for the role you just edited, then click Save.

That's it!
