How to Bulk Update Item Catalog Pricing via CSV

When your vendor prices change, you don't have to update each item one by one. SynkedUP lets you import a CSV file to update costs across your entire item catalog at once.

Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File

Your CSV file needs to include the item names (and/or SKUs) along with the updated cost for each item. The column headers and format should match SynkedUP's item import template. If you need a refresher on formatting your CSV, see How to Import Items via CSV File Import.

Step 2: Go to Import & Export

Navigate to System Setup β†’ Import & Export β†’ Update from CSV.

Step 3: Upload Your File

Click or drag your CSV file into the upload area.

Step 4: Configure the Match Settings

Choose how SynkedUP should match items in your CSV to items in your catalog β€” by Name, SKU, or Both. If your item names haven't changed, selecting Name is usually the right choice.

Then toggle on Cost to tell SynkedUP that you're updating pricing. Click Next.

Step 5: Review and Confirm

SynkedUP will display a preview showing the matched items and their updated costs. Review the list to make sure everything looks right, then click Confirm Import.

Step 6: Done

Once the import completes, click Done. Your catalog costs are now updated and all new estimates will reflect the new pricing.
