Upgrades and Enhancements

Ability to search by category in item catalog

Somewhere along the way, we found that you could no longer search by category in the item catalog. This posed some frustration as it is nice to pull up a category to make edits that are all similar. We were easily able to get that fixed up so when in the item catalog itself you can search by category, tag, item name, etc.

Significant changes starting to roll out

We are starting to roll out some changes to how jobs are created. Over the next several days you will start to see a new button appear when creating a job. This will allow you to turn on the new "Plan Experience". Take the time to watch the video walk through explaining the changes and then start using it. We welcome any and all feedback!!

General Housekeeping

Automated follow ups

We found that automated follow ups were not always turning themselves off after approval. We were able to find some very edge case scenarios and get them cleaned up. An approval of a proposal should indeed stop follow ups from being sent out.

Payment schedule not updating on new proposal

It was discovered that occasionally the payment schedule would not update to reflect the pricing changes when a job was edited and a new proposal was created. The previous proposal's payment schedule and amounts would sometimes get stuck. We have cleaned that up so any edits are now reflected throughout the new proposal.

Visit date on mobile timesheet not correct

When editing a timesheet on the mobile app it was not always entering the correct visit date. It was creating the visit date for a day before. After some investigation we found the cause of the problem and quickly addressed it. Feel free to edit as needed and everything should line up as expected.

Minimized menu pop up display issue

We had a handful of users reporting that when using SynkedUP on an iPad there would be a menu pop up that was blocking access to key functions. This took a little work to identify but we were able to get that sorted out and it should not be an issue any longer.

Lock feature on proposals

For a brief period of time we found that the lock feature on proposals was not working as intended. The lock feature allows you to force a work area to be approved if anything on the proposal is approved. For example, on a pool project you may want to lock the fence work area on, so if the pool is approved they have to approve the fence. However, during a glitch, it was locking the work area off and not on. We quickly got that sorted out and it works as intended again.

As always, if you have any questions, please hit us up in the chat box. Always remember to refresh often so you are up to date with the most recent version.
