How to use Offline Timesheets in the Mobile App

Offline timesheets and how to use them

The "Time" section in the SynkedUP mobile app has the ability to work in offline mode. Below is a video showing how to use this feature:


Limitations and Requirements for this Feature to Work:

  • Jobs must have been scheduled in the calendar for it to be available for use in offline mode

  • User must sync the schedule for the day before going offline (so just do this in the morning before you begin your day)

  • User must sync the timesheets that were created while in offline mode once you reconnect to mobile data or WIFI

  • Attachments are not available in the Job Details screen while offline


Step by Step:

Step 1:

Go to Time, then click on the Scheduled tab.

Step 2:

Click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.

Step 3:

Select Cache for offline use.

Step 4:

Select a job from today's schedule and then click Clock In to this job.

Step 5:

Continue the normal clocking-in process.

You can operate normally within this job, viewing the Job Folder, editing time, recording Actual items, etc.

Step 6:

Once you are back in a place where you can connect again, you need to sync the timesheets. A timesheet that was created offline will have this icon:

Click on the Sync icon at the top of the screen, and then Confirm.

Your offline timesheets are now uploaded.
