How to fix overlapping timesheets in the mobile app

Overlapping timesheets prevent you from submitting them. Here's how to fix them

The SynkedUP mobile app will not allow you to submit overlapping timesheets. In the Daily Review screen, it'll not allow you to continue until overlapping timesheets are solved.

If the timesheets are simply overlapping, and you don't have one timesheet completely contained within another timesheet, you will see an AutoFix button where the app will ask you which timesheet to match too, and it will edit the other timesheet to automatically solve the overlap.

Scenario 1

Timesheet 1: 8 AM - 4 PM

Timesheet 2: 1 PM - 2 PM

Timesheet 2 is completely "inside" of or "contained" in Timesheet 1. You will not see the AutoFix button in that scenario.

Scenario 2

Timesheet 1: 8 AM - 2 PM

Timesheet 2: 1 PM - 4 PM

Timesheet 2 is not completely inside of Timesheet 1. Only the "in" time of Timesheet 2 is overlapping with the "out" time of Timesheet 1. In this case you will see the AutoFix button and can easily solve the overlap.

In Scenario 1 above, you'll need to manually edit the timesheets to solve the overlap. You can edit the timesheets by clicking on the overlapping time, editing the time so it no longer overlaps, Save, and swipe down to refresh once you've landed back on the main Daily Review screen.
