How to Set Up a Service Call Fee

Add a Service Call Fee to your Company settings that can easily be added to a Service Ticket.

You can create a Service Call Fee for your company. If you have a Service Call Fee set up, then when your Maintenance guys go to clock out of a Service Ticket, they'll have the option of clicking on a little box that applies the Service Call Fee.

Here's how you do it:

Step by Step:

Step 1:

Go to your Item Catalog under Setup in the main menu.

Step 2:

Click on Create New Item.

Step 3:

Name it as Service Call Fee or something similar. Set the Class as Materials and set your Cost.

Then hit Save.

Step 4:

Now copy the SKU of your Service item that you just created. We're going to paste it into the Company settings.

Step 5:

Go to My Company in the main menu.

Step 6:

Paste the SKU from the Service Item you just created into the Service Call Fee SKU field.

Then hit Save.
