What's Happening Behind the Scenes at SynkedUP...

The Engineering Team has been busting their butts on some major improvements. 🀩 We are beyond excited to tell you about them....

At a Glance:

  • Budget Calculator

  • Restricting web app access for foreman

  • Paid invoice not marking job sold

  • Enlarged logo on PDF proposal

Budget Calculator

The Budget Calculator now lives inside SynkedUP as budget worksheets! This is something we have been dreaming of for a very long time. For the last year or so, we have worked with a website budget calculator to build budgets, but had to manually input those values into the SynkekdUP account. That calculator was great for building the budget but it was very tedious to pull up different versions and the fact that it was not linked to your SynkedUP account made it confusing for many. Our amazing engineering team has brought the budget calculator inside of SynkedUP. No more working between two platforms. This will be very helpful in allowing you to adjust your budget at any point in time. The budget worksheet feature allows you to budget out different scenarios. This is helpful in looking at different situations, such as: adding and removing employees, buying a new piece of equip, etc. Make as many different scenarios as you would like and apply the one that you want to use for pricing. This budget tool will be the foundation of many new exciting features to come. 🀩

Here is a link to a webinar we did showcasing it: Budget Worksheet Webinar

Restricting web app access for foreman

A user pointed out that foreman could log into the web app and essentially see everything. Many users prefer their foreman to not have visibility into pricing so we agreed that was an issue that needed to be resolved. Users, with foreman access only, can no longer log into the web app and can only use the mobile app. There are already restrictions on what foreman can see in the mobile app.

Paid invoice not marking job sold

A user pointed out that when down payment invoices were being paid, projects were no longer being marked as sold. The engineers were able to discover some reasons causing this and while fixing that, they changed maintenance and service tickets to act in the same way. Now when down payments are marked as paid in QuickBooks Online, it should mark all jobs as paid in SynkedUP.

Enlarged logo on PDF proposal

We had numerous requests to enlarge the logo on the PDF proposal. Many felt that it was scaled too small compared to everything else. Engineers did their magic and increased the size of the logo. πŸ™Œ
