How to Update the Status of a Job in the Mobile App

A job can have several different statuses: scheduled, waiting on parts, completed, etc. This tutorial shows you how to set that status from the mobile app.


Step by Step:

There are two places where you can edit a job's status in the mobile app. The first is from a timesheet and the second is from the Projects section.

Here's how to edit the status from the timesheet:

Step 1:

Click on a timesheet from that job.

Step 2:

Click Review.

Step 3:

Click Next, which takes you to the screen where you can edit the job status.

Click on the current status to update it.

Step 4:

Click Finish to complete the Clocking Out process.


Here's how to update a job's status from the Projects section.

Step 1:

Click on Projects in the Main Menu.

Step 2:

Click on the job you want to edit.

Step 3:

Click on the orange plus button, and then click on the edit icon button.

Step 4:

Scroll down till you get to Status, then click on it and choose the status you want. Then hit Save and you're done!
