What's Happening Behind the Scenes at SynkedUP...

The team has been busy cleaning up bugs here and there. Their primary focus is on our next new feature. So, stayed tuned for that! 🀩 Some of the more noticeable bugs that were taken care of were....

  • Scheduling bug with routes

  • Bug in deleting calendar events when deleting a route

  • Hitting add task or save button multiple times creates duplicates

Scheduling bugs with routes

You may have noticed that when you tried to reschedule a route, instead of moving it to the new desired schedule, it was duplicating and not rescheduling. This made for a messy and confusing calendar. That has been resolved and now rescheduling a route, operates as it should. Just enter the new schedule and it will move the route to the desired time.

Bug in deleting calendar events when deleting a route

When trying to delete a route from the calendar, the first two options were not acting as they should. Option one is remove route, but keep calendar events intact. The bug was causing it to remove all calendar events. This now operates as it should. Option two is to remove route and remove only future calendar events. There was a bug causing an error in the browser. This now operates as it should by removing future events, but leaving past events on the calendar. Option three is remove route and remove all calendar events and this option did not have any issues.

Hitting add task or save button multiple times creates duplicates

In maintenance, you may have noticed that hitting add task or the save button multiple times quickly would create duplicates. This was especially noticeable on larger maintenance contracts where you would hit the save button and it would not gray out immediately. This had the tendency to cause users to think it wasn't working and hit the save button again. Ultimately it was working and hitting the save button again created a duplicate. This annoying bug has now been taken care of.
