Hey SynkedUP Crew! This is what we have been working on over the past two weeks....

At a Glance:

  • Inactive Users

  • Password requirements

  • Customer email missing in job created zap

  • Items work continues

Inactive Users

We found that when you marked a user "inactive" they were still showing up in a few places as available to be assigned something (ie-as a scheduler, etc.) We have fixed that and any inactive user is no longer available. We did however, preserve historical references to that user.

Password Requirements

One question that we received a lot was in regards to when a user wanted to change a password. There are requirements to the password but we did not make that visible so if your chosen password did not meet those requirements you would receive an error message on saving with no explanation. We have added an info bubble to the password area now. If you hover over that it will explain what is needed for a successful password so that there is no more confusion.

Customer email missing in job created zap

We found that when using the job created zap the customers email did not seem to always populate. After doing some digging it seems that the likely culprit is that the customer did not have an email marked as primary or did not have an email at all. I think we can all understand why it didn't work if there was no email at all. We have also changed the code so that if there is no email marked primary it will just select the first email it finds. Hopefully this helps solve this minor issue.

Items work continues

We continue to do a lot of behind the scenes work on how items operate. They are clearly a major aspect of the backbone of SynkedUP and getting their path ironed out is important work. We are looking forward to starting to roll some of this work out. While you will not see huge changes immediately the work behind the scenes is going to open up many opportunities for future development.

As always, if you have any questions, please hit us up in the chat box. Always remember to refresh often so you are up to date with the most recent version.
